AI Services · Govern

Say yes to AI, with governance that actually holds.

For security and compliance leaders: a yes, no or yes-with-controls for every AI tool, from Microsoft Copilot (formerly Microsoft 365 Copilot) to desktop agents.

The mandate arrived before the controls did

Leadership wants AI assistants and desktop agents in everyone’s hands. Your job is to say how, safely, before the first incident. Most organizations aren’t ready: in IBM’s 2025 breach study, 97% of organizations with AI-related breaches lacked proper AI access controls (IBM, 2025).

A policy document tells people what not to do. A control stops it from happening.

Desktop agents and assistants need their own threat model

Desktop AI agents can read files, open applications and act on a user’s behalf. Microsoft Copilot can surface anything a user is already allowed to open, so yesterday’s harmless oversharing becomes tomorrow’s finding.

The assessment maps what each tool can reach, sets what must never be connected and decides how approvals work.

You get a yes, no or “yes with these controls” for each tool, with the remaining risk written down for an executive to own.

Microsoft Copilot, ready before it rolls out

Copilot answers from everything a user can already open. Our Copilot readiness audit finds what it would surface before your users do: overshared SharePoint sites, Teams and OneDrive files, missing sensitivity labels and gaps in data-loss-prevention rules. Then we fix them in your Microsoft 365 tenant, so Copilot rolls out on data shared the way you intended.

What you get

Safe AI Adoption Assessment

2–3 weeks · fixed fee

  • An inventory of the AI surfaces in use, each classified as governable or not
  • A threat model for desktop AI agents and assistants, including where Microsoft Copilot could overshare
  • An acceptable-use policy and an approved-tool list
  • A control plan, sequenced by risk and mapped to the framework you report against, such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or the HIPAA Security Rule
  • An executive sign-off on the remaining risk

Copilot readiness audit

2–4 weeks · fixed fee

  • An oversharing report across SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive: what Copilot could surface, and to whom
  • Permissions tightened on the sites and files that matter, with owners confirmed
  • Sensitivity labels and data-loss-prevention rules set in Microsoft Purview
  • A staged rollout plan by group, with a check that Copilot answers only from what each group should see

Governed gateway build

4–8 weeks · fixed fee

  • One exit for model traffic from your code and cloud accounts, built on the open-source LiteLLM gateway in front of Amazon Bedrock or your chosen providers
  • Cloud access rules that deny model access except through the gateway
  • Budgets per team, and layered redaction that screens prompts for sensitive data
  • Logs that record who called which model and what it cost, not the message itself, where you need them

Governance operations

capped monthly retainer

  • Policy upkeep as tools, models and your requirements change
  • Reviews of new AI tools before teams adopt them
  • Regular access and spend reviews, reported to leadership

Why it's different

A control plane, not a policy binder

Every rule in your policy maps to an enforced control or a signed, written exception.

Built for regulated environments

We designed the governed AI architecture for a healthcare organization working with protected health information. Layered redaction and metadata-only logs give you a governed path to desktop agents where data is sensitive. Quality scoring runs in your account, and the judge’s own model calls pass through the same gateway, redaction and logging rules as everything else.

Governance that helps fund itself

The gateway that enforces the policy also measures cost and quality, and finds savings to put back into the program.

Controls we run on our own estate

Part of the Governed AI Platform

Governance and observability share one gateway. The Governed AI Platform installs both together, so the same control point enforces policy, attributes cost and scores quality.

Questions security leaders ask

Does this make us compliant?

No tool or vendor can make you compliant on its own. We give your compliance program enforced controls and the evidence behind them. That means access control, redaction, audit trails, spend limits and documented risk decisions, designed to support the frameworks you report against.

Can you govern Microsoft Copilot and other SaaS assistants?

Yes. For Microsoft Copilot, our readiness audit fixes oversharing, sensitivity labels and data-loss-prevention rules in your Microsoft 365 tenant before rollout. Other SaaS assistants are governed through their own admin controls, access and sharing policies, and monitoring. Anything that calls a model by API can also be routed through the gateway, and the assessment records the remaining risk for each tool.

How accurate is the redaction?

Redaction is tested before go-live against a labeled sample you approve. The detection rate is reported to you, and the remaining risk is signed off. Where the stakes are highest, metadata-only logging means message content isn’t stored in your logs or traces.

Will you see our data?

Free assessments run on your side, under your credentials. For paid work, you approve in writing exactly what our engineers can access, and your data is not used to train AI models.

A free way to start

The AI Governability Scan turns a short questionnaire into a one-page matrix. It shows which tools can be governed, which bypass your controls, and the red flags for desktop agents.
